If fishing light and long is important in your challenging fishery, this is the rod for you!

This design was honed on Ian’s home-water bream lakes which hold some of the most demanding and finicky fish on the coast: clear water, little tidal movement and open shallow edges mean the cast must be long and the presentation must be just right.

Ideal for unweighted or lightly weighted soft plastics in the shallows, and small hard body lures of all descriptions from surface lures to blades. The extra length of this rod also makes it excellent for fishing deep soft plastics.

This rod is tuned for fishing the latest popular blade lures and has the perfect length, action and power for longer casting and superior line control which is necessary to maximise results using either braid with mono leader or FC lines.

The guide train is a choice between Ian’s own selection of the latest Fuji titanium KR guides in a semi-micro selection, or his composite titanium guide set (comprising a Fuji titanium K-SiC stripper with Recoil titanium alloy wire guides in Black Pearl). Both are corrosion proof and super lightweight; enhancing balance and the sensitivity of this light rod.  

Fuji SKSS reel seats and hand-shaped cork or x-firm EVA in Camoufish or black are matched with our custom stainless steel/rubber counter-weighting butt cap.
